I also like the Wikipedia app that lets you search and book mark information. (Free)
Brain tuner is a very cool little app that tests your mental calculations. There is a very version of this.
I also use twitterific (@bobbartley) and Facebook (Bob bartley) apps which don't work at school but are great for keeping up with colleagues and friends. I hope there may be a ning tool one day!!
I also like the typing training called "genius," an essential for children to increase efficiency whilst using the touch.

The message can be typed in and the students can choose from the preset voices provided or they can record their own voice, Pretty cool.
