TeamViewer App

I recently stumbled upon an incredible iPod/iPhone app called TeamViewer http://teamviewer.com/index.aspx. This FREE app (as long as you use it non-commercial) will provide remote access to computers via another computer or your iPod/iPhone. It's also compatible with Win/Mac/Linux. I have it installed on two comps at school - Mac and Win - as well as my iPod and a Win laptop at home. I can access…

I teach American History to 8th graders and have been trying to find a solid basis on which to build a case for itouches in my classroom. Does anyone have any ideas of how they are using them in history classes?

Help Please

I've never used an ipod or ipod touch (though I use technology extensively). Our school board is piloting a project where one class per area will get a class set of ipod touches and wifi. It has to be a grade 3 class with a literacy focus. We have to write a proposal to apply but I am having troubles with how to best use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

spreading the good word...

I am going to be presenting a workshop on ipod touches in the classroom. I use them in my kindergarten classroom on a regular basis but would love to hear what other grade levels are doing with them. I am so excited about using them for education and want to give ideas to other teachers. Please help me by sharing your ideas! Thanks!

how do we start?

I am at the start of the journey and I am wondering how many ipod touches a school needs and how they are best managed. I am the teacher-librarian at my school so I figure some type of class set arrangement.with a charging dock. Any advantage starting with primary ahead of secondary or the reverse?

Do they replace laptops to any great extent?

Is there any value in surveying to see how many own their own and getting them used in class? What would the risks be for…
