Educational Apps to recommend and view on uTube: CountBy and SentenceSpin

If you haven't checked out these apps they now have uTube videos posted you can watch to see if they'd be good for your students: CountBy, a K-5 math interactive hundreds board and SentenceSpin, a K-8 language arts sentence builder. You can enter each name in uTube and the video will pull up for you to watch. A third app, CountBy, a math interactive times table, should be up on uTube later this week. They've worked well here with real students in real classrooms. Enjoy!

iSchool Initiative

This website - iSchool Initiative is a website I have come across which has some compelling arguments why iPod touches/iPhones should be used in schools. It is an American site and I have also uploaded their movie to this ning - worth a watch!
